CIRQUE DU SOLEIL 30 YEARS

A 75-minute concert that pays tribute to the music of the Cirque du Soleil

As part of its 30th anniversary, and for the first time in its history, the Cirque du Soleil presented a unique and exclusive musical event celebrating 30 years of music at the magnificent Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church in Montreal.

The 75-minute concert pays tribute to the music of Cirque du Soleil and features a 70-voice choir and 6 soloists accompanied by 28 musicians, performing some of the songs that have defined the music of the Cirque du Soleil shows over the past 30 years.

Over the course of three decades, some twenty composers have written and arranged the music for the 35 shows created by Cirque du Soleil since 1984, drawing inspiration from world music, rock, jazz and contemporary sounds, and adding their own personal signature to each of the 35 productions.
